We are searching for the best talent for an Experienced Scientist, Biotherapeutics R&D to be located in Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland.
Purpose:
We are seeking an Experienced Scientist to join the TDS-AD Sample Management team in TDS AD Cork. This position is responsible for carrying out tasks and projects related to TDS AD activities in Sample Management at Janssen Sciences Ireland UC (JSI) as required by Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Partners with other departments to ensure that all TDS AD activities are completed in an efficient manner.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Coordinate laboratory batch release activities to ensure timely and compliant execution.
Coordinate activities associated with clinical reference materials management.
Coordinate and support stability program activities across the laboratory network.
Manage day-to-day routine sample management operations, including oversight of the LIMS Stability Module.
Maintain and oversee stability inventory to ensure accurate tracking and control.
Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with approved SOPs, work instructions, protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Execute sample management activities in a timely, organized, and compliant manner following established local procedures and processes.
Organize, monitor, and maintain stability inventories and environmental chambers.
Coordinate the receipt, storage, distribution, and tracking of samples throughout laboratory operations.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Laboratory Management.
Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in assigned functional areas.
Utilize laboratory systems and software, including LIMS, SAP, SDMS, TrackWise, and other relevant platforms.
Support the proper use, calibration, qualification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Accurately document laboratory data in compliance with cGMP requirements and site procedures.
Conduct data review activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable SOPs, policies, procedures, and regulatory documentation.
Participate in and support investigations related to deviations, laboratory events, and other quality-related issues, as required.
Independently author and revise SOPs, reports, technical documents, and other controlled documentation.
Execute assigned projects and operational tasks independently and collaboratively as part of cross-functional teams.
Train, mentor, and coach new and existing personnel to support capability development and knowledge transfer.
Lead and actively contribute to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and lean innovation initiatives.
Education and Experience/Competencies
Third-level qualification in a scientific/technical discipline required..
Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective partnerships and positively influence cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and data integrity.
Knowledge and experience of laboratory sample management and/or stability programs is desirable.
Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a dynamic environment.
