Finance Manager TS
Required Location: Beerse, Belgium
Contract type: Full time, permanent
At Johnson & Johnson JJT Finance, we’re recruiting a Finance Manager to join us in Beerse, Belgium.
In this controlling role, we’ll count on you to run end-to-end OUS financial processes and controls for key Technology Services (TS) areas across the JJTS Investments Portfolio, Fixed Assets, Service Billing, Hedging, Residual Cost management, and TS Towers.
You will manage a team of six finance professionals and partner closely with partners across countries/regions and across sectors, as well as with Global Services teams to ensure strong governance, compliant execution, and actionable insights for decision-making.
This is an opportunity to contribute in a global environment with broad exposure to IT strategy, demand & project intake, and a shared services organization.
We’re building what’s next for JJT OUS Finance—and we need a leader who will make it happen. You’ll drive initiatives that standardize and simplify how we work, so we can scale globally and deliver stronger results in the years ahead!
The OPPORTUNITY
We’re offering a hands-on finance leadership role in a project-focused, capital-intensive environment. You’ll shape how we run the processes, build a strong network across regions, and keep growing your skills through training and talent programs.
Core Responsibilities:
Budgeting & Reporting
You’ll own financial governance for operating expenses (~$300MM), capital expenditure (~$50MM) and headcount (~800 FTE). That includes project spend (capital and expense), capitalization closeout, depreciation, and service billings (including Residual). You’ll also run and coordinate incoming demand from business partners—so priorities are visible, and funding aligns to what we commit to deliver.
Lead forecasting and Latest Thinking, dig into variances, and explain the story behind the numbers in clear, practical commentary.
People Leadership
We’ll rely on you to lead day to day: set priorities, mentor the team, and build capability through regular feedback, training, and stretch opportunities. You’ll also keep a steady operating rhythm across the team (planning calendar, close, forecasting) so we deliver on time—every time!
Build a continuous-improvement culture: simplify and standardize processes, document playbooks, and automate where it makes sense.
Controls & business partnering
Keep our controls strong and audit-ready: ensure compliance (SOX) across Fixed Assets, investment/capex processes, and intercompany activities, and close control gaps with fixes that stick.
Work side by side with global and regional partners (including Global Services) to understand what they need, bake it into the plan, and keep delivery moving.
Challenge assumptions, build alternative scenarios, and help business partners strengthen financial ownership.
Remove friction in execution: keep service agreements/SLAs on track, unblock intercompany processing, and guide purchasing/funding decisions.
IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU
Requirements:
Education:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent experience
Experience and Skills:
Shown leadership in developing talent and leading through change in global, complex environments.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance-analysis skills, with the ability to translate data into insights and decisions.
