Position Overview

Kick-start your engineering career with an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on manufacturing performance. As an Associate Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring reliable production, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the introduction of new technologies to our manufacturing lines. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you’ll use data-driven insights and structured problem-solving to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and help deliver high-quality products on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned engineering tasks and deliverables on time and to a high standard of quality.

  • Support process and equipment validation activities, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ), computer software validation, and test method validation.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives using engineering principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.

  • Assist with designed experiments, capability studies, data collection, and documentation of process specifications.

  • Support equipment and instrument activities including programming, set-up, debugging, and troubleshooting.

  • Prepare process documentation and training materials for processes, materials, and equipment.

  • Monitor equipment, machines, and tools performance and help address equipment problems or process parameters that produce nonconforming products, low yields, or product quality issues.

  • Monitor and analyse production data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

  • Follow all site and company safety, quality, and compliance policies.

  • Collaborate regularly with teammates, stakeholders, and external partners to support project progress.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related discipline. (Must-have)

  • Master of Science degree in Engineering or related discipline.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 0-1 years of experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain consistent communication with internal and external project teams.

  • Strong professionalism, ethical standards, and commitment to compliance.

Desired:

  • Prior manufacturing or co-op/internship experience in a regulated environment.

  • Exposure to Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.

  • Familiarity with equipment, programming, and control systems such as PLCs, scripting, or instrument configuration.

  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, MATLAB, Python, and a foundation in statistical thinking.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€38,300.00 - €61,410.00
