Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a General Service Coordinator, located in Pomezia, Rome, Italy.

Job Overview

The General Service Coordinator plays a critical role in enabling efficient and compliant commercial service operations. This position supports field service teams, customers, and internal partners by coordinating service activities, managing service documentation, and ensuring timely resolution of service requests. The role directly impacts customer satisfaction, service quality, and operational excellence within the DePuy Synthes commercial organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support day‑to‑day commercial service activities, ensuring timely scheduling and execution of service requests.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external customers regarding service inquiries, status updates, and issue resolution.

  • Maintain accurate service records, contracts, and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Partner with field service, sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and invoicing processes.

  • Monitor service performance metrics and support reporting activities to drive continuous improvement.

  • Support compliance with quality and safety.

  • Demonstrate strong work ethical behaviors and high collaborative attitude.

  • Assist with coordination of service-related training, communications, and process updates.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required: Secondary school diploma or equivalent.

  • Preferred: Post‑secondary education in business administration, logistics, or a related field.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 0-2 years of experience in service coordination, customer support, operations, or administrative roles.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Customer‑focused mindset with clear and professional communication skills.

  • Proficiency in standard office and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, Microsoft Office).

  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting commercial or field service organizations in the medical device or healthcare industry.

  • Familiarity with service contracts, warranties, or service logistics.

  • Experience working in a regulated environment with quality or compliance requirements.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.

Other:

  • Languages: Fluency in Italian required; working proficiency in English preferred.

  • Travel: Minimal travel may be required (≤10%), primarily domestic.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€33,700.00 - €54,395.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
