Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

You will also lead and inspire a diverse team while managing multiple channels of distribution and commercialization to deliver strong, sustainable financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Growth: Formulate and communicate overarching business objectives, policies, and strategies aligned with regional and global goals. Drive the execution of commercial and marketing plans to meet or exceed sales and income targets.

  • Team & Culture Development: Build and nurture a high-performing, diverse leadership team. Promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued, empowered, and part of our shared success across functions and different platforms.

  • Financial & Operational Excellence: Full P&L accountability, analyzing results, and implementing corrective actions to ensure profitability and capital efficiency.

  • Partner, Customer & Ecosystem Focus: Build strong relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, distributors, and strategic partners, leveraging insights to shape innovative partnership and distributorship models that expand access, strengthen commercialization, and create value beyond product.

  • Innovation & Business Development: Lead the development of new solutions, services, shaping organizational capabilities to meet evolving stakeholder needs. And support the transition to a more digital and data driven future.

  • Negotiation & Strategic Accounts: Drive commercial negotiations, develop strategic account plans, and ensure execution that supports long-term growth.

  • Compliance & Ethics: Conduct all business activities in strict adherence to legal and ethical standards.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€104,000.00 - €179,515.00

Benefits:

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions. Moreover, we offer vacation days, parental leave for a minimum of 12 weeks, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, well-being reimbursement, programs for financial, physical and mental health.
