Role overview: The Business Excellence Specialist leads continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Business Excellence methodologies to enhance performance and strategic execution across various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Continuous improvement duties: Responsibilities include facilitating improvement projects, applying problem-solving tools, and ensuring sustainable process enhancements focused on efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.
- Performance management: The role involves developing and analyzing KPIs and dashboards, identifying performance gaps, supporting management review systems, and providing insights to leadership.
- Process standardization: Leading efforts in process mapping, documentation, simplification, and alignment with quality and regulatory standards like GMP and ISO is a key duty.
- Strategy and collaboration: The specialist translates strategic priorities into initiatives, tracks progress, manages risks, facilitates cross-functional alignment, and leads teams for transformation projects.
- Change management and coaching: Supporting organizational change, applying change management principles, coaching employees on Business Excellence tools, and building continuous improvement capabilities are essential functions.
- Cost and compliance: The role supports cost reduction and productivity initiatives, ensures benefits tracking, and aligns activities with quality systems and risk management practices.
Qualifications:
- Technical background related to engineering or manufacturing is preferred, with experience in Business Excellence and regulated industries, and required Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Work environment and interactions: The position requires effective collaboration across functions, influencing teams without direct authority, and operating in a fast-paced manufacturing setting at the Mentor Medical System B.V. Leiden location.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€38.300,00 - €61.410,00Benefits:
