Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Finance Manager for Platform Strategy. The role can be based at corporate offices in Titusville, NJ; Belgium; Switzerland; Leiden; or Ireland. Candidates should have the ability to work across multiple global time zones.

Position Overview

The Innovative Medicines Supply Chain organization is recruiting for a Finance Manager, Platform Strategy, to provide financial leadership to the Internal Biotherapeutic’s Platform. This position will report to the Internal Biotherapeutics Finance Director.

The Finance Manager, Platform Strategy, will collaborate extensively with the Platform Leadership Team to provide decision support for the platform leadership team’s prioritization of strategic programs. This position will be influential in creating innovative and transformational solutions within the supply chain. Additionally, the Finance Manager will focus on capital prioritization, lead the LRFP, and evaluate business cases for investment opportunities. This will include creating strong collaborations with operations, network, planning, and many stakeholders across the supply chain. This role will also support the full wind-down of our Manati operations (Project Delta).

The Finance Manager will be part of the Biotherapeutics platform Finance Leadership team, and will be the part of the Biotherapeutic’s Functional Capital review board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently provide financial leadership to shape the Long-Range Financial Plan (LRFP), focusing on capital prioritization, looking forward volume changes and spending, and presenting actionable recommendations to the platform leadership team.

  • Provide financial leadership to multiple strategic projects across the platform. This includes collaboration with several stakeholders across numerous functions and levels in the organization.

  • Provide business case valuation for key platform projects, focusing on value drivers and provide recommendations to senior management

  • Represent finance at the Functional Review Committee, reviewing investment requests and business needs in preparations for senior management reviews.

  • Provided financial leadership to the site decommissioning and exit for our Biotherapeutic’s Manati operations. This includes supporting a local statutory audit with PWC as part of the operational wind down.

  • Co-lead capital discussions and manage targets during key cycles: FBP, JU, NU, etc.

  • Provide ad hoc support projects.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of progressive finance experience.

  • Demonstrated results building partnerships and collaborating at all levels and multiple functions/affiliates with and without authority

  • Ability to work in ambiguity through complex business cases

  • Agility and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€79,800.00 - €137,770.00
