We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as Senior Director, Head of Digital Solutions – Clinical Supply Chain to be based in Beerse, Belgium, Allschwil, Switzerland, Titusville NJ, Horsham PA, Malvern PA US.
Purpose: This role is accountable for shaping and delivering the digital strategy, business transformation roadmap, and organizational capabilities required to build an industry-leading clinical supply chain—one that is reliable, agile, efficient, compliant, and centered on patient and site needs.
The successful candidate will lead a global organization of approximately 70+ employees and contractors while driving the digital and business transformation of Clinical Supply Chain. The role also serves as the senior business leader for the Research & Development scope of the Transcend transformation program, ensuring successful modernization, adoption, and value realization across R&D.

You will be responsible for:
Strategy & Transformation
Defining and executing the digital strategy and multi-year roadmap for Clinical Supply Chain.
Leading major transformation initiatives that modernize systems, processes, data, and ways of working across Clinical Supply Chain and R&D.
Driving simplification, standardization, and end-to-end process integration across planning, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, logistics, and clinical supply operations.
Ensuring transformation efforts deliver measurable improvements in reliability, agility, productivity, compliance, and patient experience.
Organizational Leadership
Leading and developing a global organization of approximately 70+ employees and contractors across digital solutions, systems, and business transformation.
Building a high-performing, inclusive culture focused on innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
Developing the talent, leadership capabilities, and succession pipeline needed for the future of digital clinical supply.
Strategic Partnerships
Serving as a trusted partner to senior leaders across Clinical Supply Chain, Global Development, Innovative Medicines Supply Chain, Advanced Therapies Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Johnson & Johnson Technology, and the Transcend organization.
Representing Clinical Supply Chain and R&D in enterprise governance, transformation, and industry forums.
Building strategic partnerships with technology providers, service partners, and industry consortiums to accelerate innovation and adoption of industry standards.
Digital & Technology Capabilities
Overseeing the portfolio of digital products, platforms, and technology solutions supporting Clinical Supply Chain and R&D transformation.
Leading capabilities spanning Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM), Intelligent Clinical Supply Management (iCSM), SAP-enabled processes, advanced planning and forecasting, packaging and labeling systems, logistics visibility, advanced therapies scheduling and orchestration, automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
Establishing strong governance, compliance, risk management, and operational excellence across the systems landscape.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Significant leadership experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, supply chain, manufacturing, technology, or business transformation environments.
Proven success leading large global teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale business transformation programs involving organizational change, process redesign, technology implementation, and value realization.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations, enterprise systems, digital technologies, and regulated business environments.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Preferred
Experience in clinical development, clinical trial supply, advanced therapies, manufacturing, logistics, or pharmaceutical supply chain operations.
Experience with SAP-based transformation, RTSM, planning systems, clinical supply systems, intelligent automation, artificial intelligence, and digital product management.
Track record of building strategic partnerships and driving industry-facing innovation.
Other:
Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally.
May require up to 20% domestic and/or international travel, depending on business requirements.
Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option of two remote workdays each week.

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
