Job Duties: Build models for supply chain improvement with a focus on network and plan optimization. Obtain business intelligence and support data-driven decision-making in operations and supply chain. Draw on a wide palette of optimization modeling, mathematics, statistics, AI/ML, and programming techniques to analyze data and translate into business insights, including clear scenario analysis and execution plan. Contribute technical depth in driving high-impact deployment of innovative solutions, including analytics-based decision support across the Supply Chain organization at strategic, tactical and operational levels. Perform statistical analysis of structured and unstructured data sets. Develop data-driven mathematical models with a focus on long term decision-making process. Develop computational solutions in scripting languages such as Julia and Python.
May telecommute per company's policies (hybrid).
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Science Lead-related occupation.
Position requires experience with:
1. Developing mathematical programming models for process optimization, including algorithm development;
2. Supply chain and operations management processes, including planning, scheduling, and inventory management;
3. Developing LP (Linear Programming) and MILP (Mixed-Integer Linear Programming) models;
4. Simulation techniques including discrete-event and Monte Carlo simulation;
5. Data mining algorithms including machine learning techniques: regression, decision trees, probability networks, association rules, clustering, neural networks, and Bayesian models;
6. Large volume healthcare datasets and data analysis workflows;
7. Scientific programming language Python or Julia;
8. Pandas Data processing library;
9. Process optimization tools including Gurobi, CPLEX, and BARON;
10. Operations Research tools FICO, Gurobi, AIMMS, and LLamasoft;
11. At least one of the following cloud Data and Analytics solutions: Cloudera or Azure; and
12. Data reporting and visualization software/tools.
