What is the Market Access Leadership Development Program?

The Market Access Leadership Development Program is a career differentiator for passionate, high-potential market access candidates from around the world. Market access professionals wear many hats as they navigate, negotiate and solve the many challenges inherent in bringing innovative therapies to market. In the course of our two-year program, you can accelerate your development as you learn specialized strategic and operational activities across multiple countries, healthcare systems, therapeutic areas and market access functions. What are the application requirements for this program?

The program is structured to hone the skills you'll need to lead across the entire developmental cycle. Building on your existing expertise in science, math, economics or a related field, you'll be supported by experienced mentors who will help guide and champion your career growth in market access. Required skills and experience includes: 

  • Minimum of a master's degree in an appropriate field, such as science, economics, biostatistics, epidemiology, health economics or public health 
  • Two years or more of previous market access experience after completing your advanced degree 
  • A passion for healthcare and the ability to translate information into strategy 
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Willingness and ability to relocate
  • Fluency in English as well as fluency in the language of the country where the assignment is located
