The Program Manager drives cross-functional collaboration and field partnerships to ensure programs are clinically appropriate, operationally scalable, and aligned to cardiology workflows and care transitions across diverse hospital systems. In addition, this role supports the operational backbone of education delivery by overseeing learning platform operations, tracking onboarding and training completion, coordinating observation opportunities, and project-managing education events from kickoff through close-out to ensure a seamless learner experience and sustained adoption.

Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Execution

• Lead the end-to-end execution of key program playbooks and implementation, including

scoping, resource planning, risk management, and performance tracking.

• Drive disciplined execution across all stages of development—from concept, to

development, to vendor management and through internal submissions.

• Engage directly with customers and field teams to gather insights, provide solution

demonstrations, and ensure successful adoption of program elements.

• Translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans that align with global business

priorities.

• Collaborate closely with field sales teams to ensure alignment of program objectives with customer needs, drive adoption of digital based solutions, and support commercial success.

• Apply MedTech marketing best practices and processes (positioning, messaging, launch readiness, and field enablement) to drive program awareness and adoption in partnership with Commercial teams.

• Oversee all aspects of learning platform operations—including course setup, enrollments, user roles, digital content management (version control, catalog updates), and Tier 1 support—while managing communications, request intake, engagement reporting, and weekly status updates.

• Monitor clinical onboarding and training progress in the system of record, schedule and confirm observation opportunities, close out documentation, and flag any delays or coverage gaps to ensure timely completion.

• Project-manage education events from kickoff to close-out, including timeline development, stakeholder coordination, registration/logistics, and inventory management, ensuring a seamless learner experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Commercial, and IT teams to ensure alignment of business, technical, and field execution goals.

• Coordinate complex interdependencies and workstreams across functions and geographies.

• Facilitate structured governance and decision-making to accelerate development timelines and maximize value creation.

• Engage directly with hospital C-suite stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, present platform capabilities, and co-develop solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Clinical Workflows & Digital Integration

• Drive initiatives that integrate digital assets, data analytics, patient pathway, and clinical workflow tools into Heart Recovery platforms.

• Develop and manage databases to ensure alignment with business objectives and support seamless operations across clinical workflows and digital integration initiatives.

• Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance requirements are met across all implementation efforts.

Governance & Reporting

• Lead project governance reviews with senior leadership, presenting progress, risks, mitigations, and strategic recommendations.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, timelines, and dashboards in alignment with Johnson & Johnson’s quality systems and regulatory requirements.

• Leverage program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent) to ensure consistent visibility into project performance.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or related discipline, MBA, MHA or MPH preferred.

• MedTech marketing experience, including familiarity with core best practices and processes (positioning, messaging, launch planning, and field enablement).

• Proven success managing complex cross-functional projects within a global, matrixed organization.
