Position Summary

Provide brief and concise statement explaining the main purpose for the existence of this position. Provide a brief summary of the role.

The SEA & India EP Planning Lead is the primary demand planning and IBP lead for Electrophysiology across Southeast Asia and India, reporting to the Senior Manager, ROA EP Planning. Based in Pune, this role owns country- and cluster-level demand forecasts, facilitates IBP/S&OP execution across markets, and supervises a small local planning team. The role partners closely with Commercial (Field Sales, Distributor Services, Clinical Affairs), Supply Planning, Logistics, and Finance to ensure product availability for EP labs, support launches, and balance service levels with working capital constraints.

The role’s scope of responsibilities include:

  • Own end-to-end demand planning and consensus forecasting for EP products across India and SEA markets.

  • Facilitate the regional/country IBP and S&OP cadences — prepare inputs, run demand reviews, reconcile differences.

  • Translate commercial inputs (lab procedure schedules, physician adoption, distributor orders, tenders) into robust demand signals and replenishment recommendations.

  • Manage and coach local planners and distributor planning contacts; review forecast changes and approve local demand plan updates.

  • Execute launch demand scenarios and readiness activities for country rollouts; coordinate stock staging, allocation and local launch inventories.

  • Drive forecast accuracy improvements and root-cause analysis by product segment, channel and customer type; implement corrective actions.

  • Provide analytics, reporting and inventory insights to commercial and supply stakeholders (forecast variance, service level risk, DSO impact).

  • Maintain regular engagement with distributors and key hospital/procurement stakeholders to improve demand visibility.

  • Support regional initiatives to improve planning systems and data flows.

  • Ensure planning processes comply with quality and regulatory requirements.
