Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager, Wound Closure & Healing Brazil will lead the localization and execution of global strategies, driving cross‑functional collaboration to grow the Wound Closure & Healing portfolio. It oversees portfolio management, market analytics, and new product launches while coordinating key events and engaging with KOLs to identify opportunities. The position also manages teams in a matrix environment, ensuring strong performance, development, and alignment with the J&J Credo and Leadership Imperatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for structuring and leading the growth architecture for the platform.

  • Strategy Deployment: Translate global strategic guidance into local market reality, developing and executing initiatives that balance immediate local business needs with long term sustainability efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work collaboratively with Sales, Regional Marketing , Market Access, Professional and Internal Education and Medical Affairs teams to ensure appropriate strategy deployment / initiatives execution.
  • Portfolio Management: Lead the execution of portfolio management activities: (e.g., portfolio review, S&OP process, product phase out, budget management), uncovering opportunities to disproportionately grow prioritized line of products.
  • Events coordination: Support the execution of congresses, customer & internal events and training programs, collaborating with the sales organization, internal teams and external partners / agencies.
  • Market Analytics: Identify and prioritize growth opportunities (internal and external) for the Wound Closure & Healing platform using market research, customer/collaborator interviews and cross-functional collaboration.
  • New Product launches / Project Management: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop full business cases and comprehensive marketing launch plans for new products, effectively tracking deliverables and projects milestones.
  • Engagement and Influence: Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical societies and the Sales Force Organization to gather feedback to inform strategies, strengthen partnerships and uncover new opportunities for growth.
  • Team Management: Manage others in a dynamic environment and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations, ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budget.

Integrates Johnson & Johnson Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team management and the decision making process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing, sales, new product development, finance, or business development is required, with a proven track record of achieving results in a challenging business environment.
  • Prior experience in medical devices or Pharma
  • A minimum of 4 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of successful team management and people development
  • Proficient in analytical techniques to drive strategic decision-making is required.
  • Strong project management and portfolio management skills, with the ability to lead multiple priorities in a dynamic environment is required.
  • Proven ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external partners is required, with the ability to develop impactful relationships.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%, including overnights and weekends is required.
  • Proven track record of working in a matrix environment / global organization preferred.
  • Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biomedical sciences industries is preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
