MedTech Transcend is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Inventory Release Lead to help drive successful inventory deployments across a complex global organization. This is a high-impact role for a finance or supply chain professional who brings strong SAP knowledge, inventory accounting expertise, and the ability to work confidently across Finance, Supply Chain Operations, IT, and implementation partners. In this role, you will lead inventory release readiness through testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare, helping ensure a smooth transition to SAP S/4HANA and strong operational and financial outcomes.

How YOU can help:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end inventory release readiness for SAP S/4HANA deployments, including planning, milestone management, risk tracking, issue resolution, and business readiness.

  • Partner closely with Finance, Supply Chain Operations, and IT to deliver inventory processes that support accurate movements, valuation, controls, and reporting.

  • Support the design and deployment of inventory accounting and reporting processes in SAP S/4HANA, including reconciliations, reserves, and key financial outputs.

  • Drive readiness for inventory-related controls and compliance requirements, including SOX validation, control execution, and audit support.

  • Lead business testing for inventory processes across FIT, BST, and UAT, partnering with IT and system integrators to validate solutions and resolve defects.

  • Translate business needs into clear process scenarios, requirements, and acceptance criteria that support successful end-to-end delivery.

  • Support cutover planning and execution for inventory-related activities, including data readiness, validation, reconciliations, and deployment checkpoints.

  • Help prepare teams for go-live through training, SOPs, work instructions, and business readiness activities that support adoption.

  • Act as a trusted SAP S/4HANA inventory SME during go-live and hypercare, helping teams quickly resolve issues and stabilize operations.

IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, supply chain finance, consulting, or large-scale business transformation programs supporting manufacturing or inventory-related processes.

  • Hands-on SAP experience is required, with SAP S/4HANA inventory, materials management, or inventory accounting experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting, stock movements, valuation, reconciliations, and controls within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

  • Experience supporting SAP deployments, business testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization is highly valued.

  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, PMP, MBA, or SAP S/4HANA certification are a plus.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across senior leaders, business teams, and technical teams.

  • Able to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global environment.
