Position Summary
The Digital Services & Solutions Manager for Surgery Spain is responsible for shaping and executing the strategy for digital solutions and service offerings that enhance customer value, accelerate portfolio adoption, and support sustainable business growth. This role connects commercial priorities, customer needs, and digital capabilities to develop scalable solutions that improve
clinical, operational, and economic outcomes for healthcare providers. The position requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Strategic Accounts, Medical Affairs, Professional Education, Global and EMEA digital teams, Legal, Compliance, and external partners to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and optimization of digital services across the Surgery business in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the digital services and solutions strategy for Surgery Spain, aligned with business priorities, customer needs, and portfolio growth objectives.

  • Identify, prioritize, and localize digital solutions and service opportunities that address hospital workflow challenges, customer engagement needs, and value-based care expectations.

  • Lead the deployment and adoption of digital platforms, service models, and connected solutions in partnership with commercial teams, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Strategic Accounts, Medical Affairs, Professional Education, Legal, and Compliance to ensure digital initiatives are relevant, scalable, and fully compliant.

  • Act as the local business owner for digital service implementation, managing launch plans, stakeholder engagement, change management, and customer adoption to maximize impact.

  • Translate customer insights and market trends into business cases, pilots, and solution roadmaps that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and competitive differentiation.

  • Monitor solution performance through adoption, utilization, customer satisfaction, and business impact metrics, using data and insights to continuously optimize execution.

  • Manage digital services projects, vendors, budgets, and timelines, ensuring strong execution discipline and alignment with local and regional priorities.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Surgery leadership team in Spain, bringing a digital mindset to commercial execution, customer partnerships, and future business model development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in robotic solutions, capital selling, service contracts deployment, digital health, digital services, customer solutions, commercial excellence, strategic marketing, consulting, or business development within MedTech, healthcare, or the hospital environment.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare digitalization, hospital workflows, customer engagement models, and solution adoption drivers; knowledge of the Surgery environment is highly valued.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and drive execution across commercial, technical, and operational teams.

  • Experience in solution launches, implementation projects, business case development, or customer success initiatives, with strong understanding of compliance, privacy, and governance requirements.

  • Excellent communication, project management, analytical, and clinical and non-clinical stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate strategy into practical, customer facing solutions.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€61.800,00 - €106.260,00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
