We are searching for the best talent for Valuable Materials Storer II

Purpose:

Responsible for managing and control valuable materials inventory on site

You will be responsible for:

Under supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson procedures and guidelines, this position includes:

  • Following applicable procedures for assigned area such as CERENOVUS 7-503-203 or BWI MAT014.

  • Following procedures to issue materials using JDEdwards PLT.

  • Knowledge of weight scales use at different warehouses.

  • Knowledge of controlled documents; manage and fill out forms according to company guidelines.

  • Electronic material issuance in JDEdwards & Trans Collector (DSI).

  • Electronic material issuance to work orders (WO) with manual transactions (IM).

  • Identifying material by area and supplying materials accordingly.

  • Performing cycle counts and investigating discrepancies.

  • Verifying material transactions in warehouses.

  • Documenting discrepancies and notifying Quality Department.

  • Transferring materials physically and systematically to Shipping, Warehouse, Receiving and Quarantine.

  • Performing engineering material issuance and service orders.

  • Knowledge of material status: H (hold), Q (quarantined), R (rejected).

  • Creating and labeling containers in warehouses.

  • Segregating expired materials on a weekly basis for disposition.

  • Creating an active location report sitewide.

  • Verifying materials’ physical condition at warehouses.

  • Identifying, reporting and investigating material discrepancies.

  • Understanding work order issue reports and confirming transactions.

  • Verifying inbound shipment paperwork of valuable materials and confirming receipts.

  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.

  • For those supervising staff, ensuring that subordinates follow all Health, Safety and Environmental company guidelines and that necessary resources are available and in good condition.

  • Ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • High School education required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

  • Ability to enter data in spreadsheets and database applications.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

  • Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and the public.

  • Strong organization and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
