About our manufacturing facility in Costa Rica
Johnson & Johnson MedTech announced the Grecia, Alajuela manufacturing operation in 2023 to expand production capacity and strengthen supply chain efficiency and resilience, building on more than 40 years of operations in Costa Rica. At the time of the announcement, the site was expected to create approximately 3,000 potential jobs over three to five years. The site is designed to support products across J&J MedTech, with an emphasis on electrophysiology solutions and orthopaedic products.
