Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a(n) Senior Manager, Joining Solutions Leader, located in Bengaluru or Pune India or Sao Paolo, Brazil

In this role, you will lead solution enablement for Johnson & Johnson’s end-to-end Joining journey—from job requisition initiation through posting, screening, selection, due diligence, offer generation, onboarding, and the first 90 days. You will shape a cohesive, digital-first experience built on the Workday ecosystem and integrated extended systems that enable a seamless process across regions and businesses. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end solution enablement for Joining (Req-to-90 days): Own the functional solution outcomes across requisition, posting, screening, selection, due diligence, offer, onboarding, and early tenure experience through 90 days, ensuring consistent and compliant experiences.

  • Drive Workday Recruit centered roadmap delivery: Partner with the Product Owner, HR stakeholders, and J&J Technology to translate business outcomes into features, configuration, integrations, and releases across Workday and connected platforms.

  • Orchestrate cross-system integration and process design: Lead design and delivery across Workday and extended systems (e.g., assessments, background screening, document generation/e-sign, identity/access provisioning, learning), ensuring dependable end-to-end workflow and data integrity.

  • Establish and run delivery governance: Create operating cadence, scope and dependency management, risk/issue resolution, release readiness, and stakeholder communications to ensure predictable delivery in a global, matrixed environment.

  • Lead a blended team and partner ecosystem: Manage internal team members and external vendors/partners, setting clear objectives, quality standards, and performance expectations across build, run, and continuous improvement.

  • Enable adoption and change at scale: Coordinate training, communications, knowledge content, and deployment support to drive adoption across Talent Acquisition, HR, and business leaders.

  • Drive continuous improvement and measurable outcomes: Define and monitor KPIs (e.g., cycle time, candidate experience, completion rates, rework, compliance), identify bottlenecks, and implement simplification, automation, and controls.

  • Ensure compliance, privacy, and controls: Partner with Legal, Privacy, Security, and HR Controls to ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements (data privacy, retention, auditability, accessibility) and internal standards.

  • Operational excellence for run support: Oversee incident trends, problem management, enhancement backlog health, and service performance; continuously improve stability and user experience.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA/MS or similar) and/or relevant certifications (e.g., Workday, Agile, Product/Program Management).

Experience and Skills


Required:

  • 5+ years of experience delivering HR technology and/or enterprise platform solutions, with significant scope in Talent Acquisition and Onboarding end-to-end processes.

  • Demonstrated experience leading solution delivery in the Workday ecosystem (Recruiting and/or Onboarding preferred) and coordinating outcomes with product and engineering partners.

  • Strong program/project leadership skills, including managing multi-workstream roadmaps, dependencies, and releases using Agile and/or hybrid delivery approaches.

  • Proven ability to lead and influence across a global, matrixed organization, aligning diverse stakeholders to common outcomes.

  • Experience designing and delivering integrations across multiple systems and vendors, including clear requirements, testing strategy, and cutover readiness.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including KPI definition, root-cause analysis, and translating data into measurable improvements.

  • People leadership experience, including leading teams and external partners with accountability for delivery, quality, and service outcomes.

Preferred:

  • Experience modernizing candidate and new hire experiences through automation, workflow orchestration, and self-service design.

  • Familiarity with global hiring compliance considerations (privacy, retention, audit, accessibility) and partnering with Legal/Privacy/Security on controls-by-design.

  • Experience with vendor management (SOWs, SLAs, performance management) and managed services.

  • Experience with change management, training enablement, and scaling adoption across regions and businesses.

  • Knowledge of service management practices (incident/problem/change), release management, and operational readiness for enterprise platforms.

  • Exposure to process excellence methods (Lean/Six Sigma) applied to HR operations or digital workflows.

  • Familiarity with dashboarding/BI tools and measuring end-to-end journey performance.

Other:

  • Ability to work effectively across time zones; occasional travel may be required (typically up to 15%).
