Job Description:

Senior Finance Analyst, MedTech Surgery Benelux

Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst for the Surgery Business Unit in Benelux.

The SFA Surgery Benelux will provide financial leadership, insightful analytics and will be supporting the Controllers of the Surgery business in Belgium/Luxemburg and the Netherlands. This role will have a solid reporting line to the Belgium/Luxemburg Surgery Controller and a dotted line to the Netherlands Controller.

This role includes the development, execution and review of strategies and action plans to improve the value of our portfolio and go-to market models, through data driven analytics enabled by the latest technology advancements. Taking a lead role in the planning of revenue, allocation of resources and optimization of working capital. He/she will also work closely with the franchise sales and marketing managers to contribute to the generation and execution of relevant strategies and play a key role in assessing investment opportunities.

In addition, the SFA will ensure alignment and coordination with the FP&A teams, Shared Service Centers, the Regional Finance teams while ensuring financial integrity and compliance to the J&J Corporate finance policies.

Key responsibilities:

Compliance:

  • Ensures compliance with the J&J WW financial, HCC and Business Conduct procedures

  • Ensure correct reflection of financial performance by active engagement in month/quarter-end close process

Business Support:

  • Strong partnership with Surgery Commercial teams in Belgium and the Netherlands: Contribute to the development of local strategies and execution to influence and shape business decisions that support the short-and long-term goals of J&J.

  • Apply strong analytical skills to identify risks and opportunities, interpret complex financial and business data, and communicate clear, timely insights and recommendations to senior management.

Financial Planning:

  • Actively support all major finance updates (Business Plan, Quarterly Close, Latest Thinking and any other financial planning activities) for the Surgery business unit in Benelux and ensure on-time and accurate submissions that are strongly link to the Integrated Business Plan process

  • Monitor and steer fixed and working capital with clear focus on efficient capital allocation strategies

Process improvement, Technology & Systems implementation:

  • Leverage strong digital skills to identify and implement more efficient, scalable and sustainable processes and systems, while influencing business partners to adopt best practices that improve business operations across Benelux and the MSM cluster.

  • Demonstrate excellent use of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Copilot and other digital tools to enhance analysis, automate reporting, improve productivity and support successful technology implementations.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • University Degree (Master or equivalent) in Finance or related area; CPA, CMA certificates are a plus

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance is required

  • A commercial mindset with a strong financial backbone

  • Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is a plus

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with strong digital fluency and a proven ability to use Copilot and financial systems to drive insights and efficiency.

The anticipated pay range for this position, in the primary posting location, is:

€72,500.00 - €115,230.00

The anticipated pay ranges for additional locations are:

[Netherlands] – The anticipated base pay range for this position is 64,000.00 –103,040.00 EUR.

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
