We are searching for the best talent for Staff MES Engineer to be in Juarez City.

You will be responsible for:

Assist in executing change control tasks and producing validation evidence (test scripts, results) for MES changes.

• Support and lead pilot runs, go-lives, and early-life support diagnose physical and model-related failures and implement corrective changes.

• Work cross-functionally with IT, Engineering, Digital, Automation, Quality, and Business stakeholders

• Identify gaps between process intent and MES execution and escalate as needed

Create and maintain MES configuration objects: recipes, operations, routings, equipment assignments, materials/BOMs, and electronic work instructions.

• Implement model changes through change control processes and produce associated validation evidence (test scripts, execution results).

• Participate in pilot runs and go-live activities; troubleshoot model-related issues and implement corrective updates.

• Maintain model versioning, naming conventions, and governance artifacts to preserve traceability and audit readiness.

• Produce and update operator-facing documentation, runbooks, and training materials tied to MES models.

• Extract and analyze master-data using queries and scripts to verify configuration accuracy and support investigations.

Act as enterprise CSV authority for complex, high-risk, or business-critical systems

• Define and govern CSV lifecycle strategy across multiple programs and platforms • Resolve cross-program conflicts related to compliance, scope, or validation rigor

• Provide CSV oversight for system architecture and integration designs

• Oversee validation approach for vendor-managed and externally hosted systems

• Approve deviations from standard validation methodologies when justified

• Approve residual risk acceptance for high-impact systems

Qualifications / Requirements:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related technical discipline — or equivalent practical experience.

• 6-8 years experience in MES configuration/modeling, manufacturing IT, or automation roles; internships/co-op experience valued.

• Experience in regulated manufacturing (pharma, biotech, medical devices, food) is a plus

Deep understanding of MES concepts: recipe structure, parameterization, genealogy, batch/batch records, and electronic batch records.

• Strong familiarity with integration patterns (OPC UA/DA, middleware, APIs) and practical experience validating data flows with ERP/PLM/QMS.

• Proficient in SQL/querying for master-data validation and troubleshooting; comfortable scripting for imports/exports.

• Knowledge of version control and configuration governance practices for MES objects.

• Excellent attention to detail and disciplined documentation practices.

• Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking capabilities to identify root causes across people, process, and tooling.

• Effective cross-functional communicator able to negotiate trade-offs with engineering, quality, and operations.

• Leadership and coaching aptitude for mentoring junior staff and driving adoption of standards.
