We are seeking a talented Clinical Account Specialist to join our Electrophysiology team at Johnson & Johnson MedTech – Biosense Webster in the North of Portugal.


Purpose: This role is designed for professionals with a clinical background who are eager to develop both clinical expertise and commercial skills in Electrophysiology (EP). Your primary mission will be to support EP procedures, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to territory growth and product adoption while developing expertise in CARTO™ 3 mapping systems and Biosense Webster technologies.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide in-lab support during electrophysiology procedures, assisting EP teams across the North of Portugal.

  • Learn to set up, operate, and optimize CARTO™ 3D mapping systems and related consumables.

  • Support clinicians during procedures to promote efficient workflows and positive patient outcomes.

  • Deliver technical and clinical assistance to healthcare professionals in real time.

  • Help drive product adoption and utilization growth within existing accounts.

  • Participate in customer meetings to understand clinical needs, business drivers, and decision-making processes.

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with electrophysiologists, nurses, technicians, and hospital stakeholders.

  • Provide a high level of service and responsiveness in clinical environments.

  • Take part in structured training programs covering EP procedures, CARTO™ systems, and the Biosense Webster portfolio.

  • Gradually deliver basic product training and demonstrations to hospital staff.

  • Work closely with Sales, Clinical, and Marketing teams to support product launches, workshops, and educational initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Physiology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related health sciences.

  • Fluency in Portuguese; good level of English required.

  • At least 2 years of experience in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.

  • Motivation to develop a career combining clinical expertise and sales responsibility.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in hospital settings.

  • Ability to learn quickly and progressively take on greater responsibility and autonomy.

  • Proactive mindset, curiosity, and strong drive to achieve results.

  • Willingness to travel regularly across the North of Portugal.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€27,000.00 - €43,700.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
