Job Description:

As part of overall MTSC Transformation, the MTSC Transformation W&T pillar is responsible for designing and realizing the future-state supply chain network for Johnson & Johnson MedTech. This function includes oversight of consolidation and rationalization actions for the global distribution network, a strategic shift toward an asset-light model, and the build-out of new, future-looking logistics capabilities including partner management, network design, systems strategy, and defining the transition standards required to sustain performance in the future state. The team operates centrally, with close partnership with regional Transformation and Deliver teams cross EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and North America.

Manager, 3PL Systems & Integration that sits within the MTSC Transformation W&T pillar, is responsible for deploying standard definition and integration of Warehouse Management System (WMS) capabilities across 3PL-operated distribution sites within the future-state asset-light operating model.

The position is responsible for defining business process integration requirements, operational workflows, and interaction models between J&J and 3PL WMS environments to ensure consistent and scalable execution across the global distribution network. This includes aligning warehouse processes, operational standards, data requirements, and system interaction points across Order-to-Cash, warehouse operations, and logistics partner processes.

The role works closely with global Transformation W&T, 3PL Partner Excellence, Regional Deliver Teams, IT and Digital to ensure that 3PL WMS integration approaches support operational requirements, process consistency, and transformation objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and maintain business process integration requirements related to 3PL WMS operations across the global distribution network
  • Support definition of end-to-end warehouse operational workflows and integration points between J&J systems and 3PL WMS environments
  • Establish standardized business process requirements and operational interaction models supporting the asset-light operating model
  • Collaborate with Systems Strategy and IT teams to translate operational requirements into structured system and integration requirements
  • Define business requirements related to inventory management, inbound/outbound execution, order processing, inventory visibility, and warehouse transaction flows within 3PL environments
  • Partner with global to development and deployment of integration frameworks, process standards, and playbooks for 3PL WMS operations
  • Ensure alignment between warehouse operational processes, partner execution models, and upstream/downstream business processes, including Order-to-Cash interactions
  • Partner with 3PL Partner Management and Deliver Teams to ensure operational standards and partner requirements are reflected in WMS integration approaches
  • Drive governance and issue resolution activities related to operational integration gaps, process inconsistencies, and business process alignment
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and simplify warehouse operational processes and integration approaches across regions and partners
  • Partner with global on the development of KPIs and operational monitoring frameworks related to WMS integration effectiveness and warehouse execution performance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating lessons learned and best practices from deployments and operational feedback

QUALIFICATION

Minimum Required Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or partner/vendor coordination roles.
  • Experience defining and improving operational processes, governance activities, or project coordination in cross-functional environments
  • Experience in shaping and implementing WMS / TMS
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Must have regional experience in managing multiple markets operations / suppliers / providers
  • Strong governance, stakeholder management, and executive communication capabilities
  • Experience maintaining process documentation, trackers, reporting files, or governance materials
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to support structured execution of operational processes
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify process gaps and support improvement initiatives
  • Problem solving mentality and “can do” attitude. Able to analyze multiple data sources in high pressure environments to give prompt recommendations & solutions
  • Strong communication skills, ability to articulate and simplify situation and issues with clear actions to all stakeholders to instill trust and confidence
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive and drive execution in highly matrixed environments, effective in working in a “pod” environment

Preferred Experience

  • MBA advantageous
  • Exposure to warehouse, transportation, or 3PL-managed logistics environments highly preferred
  • MedTech, hi-tech, pharma or complex regulated industry experience
  • Exposure to 3PL WMS/TMS implementation or other supply chain transformation initiatives
  • Experience in value realization, transformation governance, or operational strategy
  • Lean Six Sigma, ADKAR certification is desirable

Analytics and fact-based - Able to analyze complex issues and use critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and sound judgement

Transformation agility – Comfortable in operating in fast-paced, evolving transformation environments with competing priorities and organizational ambiguity. Demonstrated resilience and adaptability while maintaining governance discipline and execution focus across multiple concurrent initiatives

Strategic learning orientation – Continuously seeks to improve enterprise transformation effectiveness by identifying process simplification opportunities, governance improvement, organizational efficiencies and strategic optimization insights. Demonstrated curiosity and forward-thinking orientation towards future-state supply chain evolution

Matrix organization - The candidate must know how to maneuver in a matrix organization, i.e. how to optimize our resources and knowledge, partnering with cross-functional peers and local/regional team mates to deliver results
