Job Description:

CAR‑T is an innovative therapy that leverages a patient’s own immune system to fight cancer. By genetically modifying a patient’s T‑cells to recognize and destroy cancer cells, this transformative technology offers new hope to patients who have exhausted other treatment options. To support the CAR-T program in EMEA, we are operating two brand new CAR-T manufacturing facilities in the Ghent area.

As Logistics Engineer, you play a key role in continuously improving and optimizing our logistics operations in Ghent, by developing and implementing projects and innovative initiatives. You will:

  • collaborate with various support functions and process development teams to successfully implement projects and improve our logistics processes, focused on maintaining a competitive and compliant operational framework
  • develop and maintain effective work relationships with business, quality, safety, and other functions to ensure compliance with all quality and safety requirements
  • act as key user from the business side to integrate ERP systems solutions in our logistics operations
  • provide warehouse input to project design teams for buildings, utilities, infrastructure, IT and Production Systems
  • support the organization during inspections and audits
  • track financials and support budget adherence, identify and implement opportunities for increased cost efficiency
  • actively participate in the further development of the CAR-T logistics network strategy
  • understand and apply Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Quality commitments in day-to-day activities and interactions.

Kennis / Knowledge:

  • you have proven your ability to manage projects in an operational environment, preferably in logistics/warehousing
  • experience in a highly regulated environment (GMP, GDP,...) is an advantage
  • you like to explore new paths, to make full use of your knowledge and experience, as well as to expand it
  • you like to work in a team towards a common goal.

Opleiding / Education:

Preferably a Master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent disciplines

Talen / Languages:

Dutch

English

Systemen / Systems:

User experience in ERP- and/or GMP systems is considered an asset

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€60,000.00 - €96,255.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
