Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

In this role as a Trauma Clinical Specialist, you will work with a Sales Specialist to support and service customers primarily concentrated in Cork area. You will become an integral part of the sales team maintaining an existing customer base and developing new customers to help deliver the best possible care to their patients.

What to expect:

  • You will provide in theatre support to consultants and nursing staff regarding the use of products
  • Providing accurate information regarding all products and their indications (i.e. surgical techniques) for use to orthopaedic consultants and nursing staff
  • Provide first class service and seamless supply to customers including training, stock checks, timely deliveries and supporting the theatre team to ensure the operation proceeds successfully.
  • Assist in the promotion/correct use of J&J MedTech Orthopaedic products through regular, organised customer education meetings and training sessions
  • Develop business opportunities across the portfolio in Key Focus Accounts, communicate to the Sales Specialist, and assist in the successful conversion of these business opportunities.
  • Provide support to J&J MedTech Orthopaedic Medical Education Events
  • Achieve Business goals in line with CREDO Values
  • Promote use of portfolio and services to Orthopaedic Surgeons, Theatre Staff
  • Maintain and grow the business as defined by the individual business plan and Key Opinion Leader targets.
  • Proactively build and develop relationships with Clinical stakeholders
  • Develop a portfolio of territory Key Opinion Leaders across the product portfolio
  • Cover surgical cases as required to support regional colleagues

Qualifications - External

Who are we looking for?

  • To excel in this role, you will have experience of orthopaedics/sports medicine
  • Working Knowledge of theatre Environment and the HSE
  • Relevant experience in health sciences/anatomy and/or arthroscopy
  • Clinical qualification, e.g. ODP, RGN, Physiotherapy or a degree in science/sports science discipline/business/technology

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€55.500,00 - €88.205,00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
