1. Job Description

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Senior BI analyst - Power BI to support Supply Chain Procurement through the delivery of trusted reporting, dashboards, and actionable analytics. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI solutions that improve visibility into spend, supplier performance, sourcing effectiveness, contract compliance, cost productivity, and operational KPIs. The position partners with Procurement stakeholders, process owners, and digital or data teams to translate business requirements into scalable reporting products that enable informed decision-making and strengthen operational discipline. At pay grade 25, this role is expected to operate as a strong individual contributor with hands-on expertise in Power BI development, data modelling, reporting governance, and stakeholder engagement within a matrixed enterprise environment.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Procurement Performance Reporting & Visualization

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support procurement performance management, spend visibility, supplier scorecards, sourcing outcomes, and operational KPI monitoring

B. Data Modelling, Transformation & Integration

  • Design and maintain scalable semantic models like inside Fabric workspaces, connecting directly to data lakes or Data Warehouses
  • Develop business logic using DAX and Power Query (M) to ensure consistent and reusable calculations
  • Integrate and transform data from relevant sources such as ERP, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, and Fabric Pipelines to ingest data from various on-premises and cloud sources

C. Data Quality, Governance & Controls

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness across dashboards, semantic models, and reporting outputs
  • Identify and resolve refresh, performance, data quality, and access

D. Report Deployment, Administration & Support

  • Publish, secure, maintain, and monitor reporting solutions within Power BI
  • Support workspace management, user access, refresh schedules, distribution, and lifecycle activities for production reporting solutions

3. Required Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or digital enablement roles
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development within an enterprise environment
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Fabric, including OneLake, Dataflows, pipelines, or integrated analytics workflows
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with structured enterprise data sources
  • Experience developing dashboards and KPI reporting for business stakeholders with strong attention to data accuracy, usability, and reporting quality
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and ability to translate business requirements into practical reporting solutions
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across matrixed teams and stakeholder groups

4. Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to ERP, procurement, sourcing, supplier management systems
  • Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, APIs or enterprise analytics platforms
  • Basic knowledge of Python or automation approaches for reporting and analytics improvement
