We are searching for the best talent for SENIOR CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN

Purpose:

This job description covers the knowledge, skills & abilities for the Calibration
Technician position.
The Calibration Technician is responsible to provide support to manufacturing areas assuring all calibration services are performed on time and in compliance with local procedures.
Responsible for assuring the planned calibration work assigned for all equipment and machinery is executed by:
Maintaining the expected level of Departmental GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) o Compliance and bringing GMP observations to the attention of the supervisor for correction.

You will be responsible for:

  • Calibrates maintains and safeguards inspection, measuring, test equipment (IM&TE)and software according to guidelines and procedures.
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of written calibration procedures.
  • Maintains calibration records for inspection, measuring, test equipment IM&TE.
  • Development and maintenance of written calibration procedures.
  • Generates NCR’s according to local procedures.
  • Ensure all dispositions and changes to IM&TEs are made following procedures.
  • Responsible for adequate training according to compliance wire or similar Systems.
  • Compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and other safety precautions within the work area.
  • Ensures that the controlled environmental monitoring is complete and on schedule.
  • Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities.
  • Follow J&J and EES Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records
  • Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records
  • Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records, and third-party vendor if applicable.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

Qualifications / Requirements

Technical Career Studies or equivalent applicable to the area: Mechanical,
Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronics, Metrology, Instrumentalist.
Approximate experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to
satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities.

10+ years experience in related fields. BS Degree in progress.

  • bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred.
  • GMP/ ISO knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of calibration and metrology required.
  • Knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, and electrical systems preferred.
  • NCR system knowledge required.
  • Ariba/ JD system knowledge required.
  • Particle Count Equipment Knowledge required.
  • Viable Air, Surface, Pressure Air, and Monitoring Knowledge Required.
  • PC literate preferred. Maximo System Knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Campus information systems preferred
