We are searching for the best talent for Field Inventory & Asset Planner, Mexico City.

Purpose: The Field Inventory & Asset Planner is responsible for driving the execution of inventory and set optimization initiatives across field stock locations, loaner networks, consignment points, and market inventory nodes. The role ensures the right inventory is available in the right location to support outstanding customer service and case reliability, while reducing excess inventory, improving days of stock, protecting cash flow, and minimizing write-off risk.

This role works closely with Supply Planning, Warehouse, Loaner Operations, Customer Service, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, regional Inventory & Asset teams, and local Supply Chain leaders. The planner acts as the execution connector between inventory strategy and field operations, ensuring that analytics, governance decisions, and optimization plans are converted into visible operational results.

You will be responsible for:

  • Execute inventory optimization action plans across countries, platforms, franchises, and field stock locations, ensuring actions are translated into measurable inventory reduction, service protection, and cash-flow improvement.

  • Execute set optimization plans, including rebalance, reduction, retrieval, pullback, dismantling, redeployment, and rationalization of underperforming or idle sets.

  • Define optimal inventory stock levels across field locations, balancing service level requirements, case coverage, days of stock, customer needs, lead times, replenishment logic, and working capital targets.

  • Drive analytics and insights for country inventory performance, translating inventory data into clear actions, risks, opportunities, and governance discussions.

  • Anticipate write-off, expiry, excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory risks through proactive monitoring of inventory age, demand signals, lifecycle status, forecast consumption, set productivity, and field usage.

  • Partner with Warehouse, Loaner, Operations, Commercial, Customer Service, Supply Planning, Finance, and local Supply Chain teams to identify main offenders and define, execute, and track corrective action plans.

  • Consolidate E&O and SLOB data to support meaningful business conversations, enabling leadership to understand drivers, financial exposure, risk mitigation options, and required decisions.

  • Guarantee set deployment in market by coordinating execution priorities, tracking deployment readiness, validating asset availability, and ensuring alignment with set plans, business priorities, and market demand.

  • Collaborate with Supply Planners and Operations to reduce backorders and days of stock by identifying inventory imbalances, improving redeployment opportunities, supporting replenishment decisions, and escalating supply constraints.

  • Responsible for Inventory Controls including cycle counting, reconciliation and adjustments tracking to have accurate records without impacts to PnL

Core Deliverables

  • Country-level inventory optimization tracker with actions, owners, due dates, financial impact, service impact, and execution status.

  • Set optimization execution plan covering rebalance, retrieval, reduction, redeployment, and disposal recommendations.

  • Field stock entitlement analysis by location, platform, customer segment, and service model.

  • E&O and SLOB risk view with drivers, main offenders, mitigation plans, and escalation requirements.

  • Backorder and days-of-stock improvement actions aligned with Supply Planning and Operations.

  • Monthly performance insights for inventory, assets, field stock productivity, set utilization, and write-off avoidance.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Gross inventory and days of stock reduction versus plan.

  • E&O, SLOB, expiry, and write-off risk reduction.

  • Set productivity, utilization, and idle set reduction.

  • Field stock accuracy, visibility, and entitlement compliance.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
