Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, Process Engineer, located in Bangalore, India.

The Manager, Process Engineer plays a key leadership role in advancing HR process automation and engineering capabilities. This position is responsible for driving improvements in efficiency, quality, and scalability by designing and implementing automation solutions and continuous improvement initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to lead impactful transformation programs, partner with global stakeholders, and shape the future of HR operations through innovative engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions to optimize HR processes and workflows
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using engineering and Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Analyze existing processes, systems, and workflows to identify automation and optimization opportunities
• Oversee testing, validation, and deployment of automation systems to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to integrate automation technologies into enterprise systems
• Establish standards, governance, and best practices for process engineering and automation solutions
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners for automation tools and solutions
• Monitor and report on process performance metrics to drive data-informed decision-making
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to engineering or automation team members

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

• Approximately 6–8 years of relevant experience in process engineering, automation engineering, or related technical fields
• Proven experience designing and implementing automation solutions and process improvements
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, system design, and process optimization methodologies
• Experience leading teams or managing projects in a matrix environment

Preferred:

• Experience in HR systems, HR shared services, or enterprise operations environments
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworks
• Knowledge of automation technologies (e.g., RPA, robotics, workflow platforms)
• Experience integrating automation solutions with enterprise systems and platforms
• Exposure to data analytics, reporting, and performance measurement tools
• Experience working within global, cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of digital transformation initiatives

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to ensure compliance with organizational standards, security, and governance requirements

Other:

• Language: Proficiency in English required
• Travel: Minimal to moderate travel may be required (domestic and international)
• Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, automation, or engineering certifications preferred
