We are searching for the best talent for Manufacturing Supervisor IV to be in Juarez City.
You will be responsible for:
- Responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership for daily manufacturing operations and ensuring established metrics (Safety, Quality and Compliance, Production Waste,
- Efficiency, Cycle Time and Continuous Improvement) are met
- • Supervises production personnel and collaborates with support departments to meet or exceed the goals and objectives of the Business Unit, in alignment with those in the company and franchise.
- • Responsible for ensuring adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures; provides support to ongoing initiatives related to safety and ergonomics programs.
- • Ensures that manufacturing activities are performed in compliance with the Quality System and drives efforts to enhance a culture of quality and compliance
- • Manages the effective and efficient utilization of human, capital, and material resources to optimize performance
- • Supports rewards and recognition programs, participates in the development of employees, acts as a mentor, and promotes talent
- • Coordinates communication activities with manufacturing associates
- • Identifies and supports the resolution of labor issues in coordination with the Human Resources department
- • Develop and maintain a culture based on our Credo.
- • Executes or supervises data entry on required systems, such as ERP, Kronos, and others
- • Coordinates communication activities with production associates
- • Identifies and supports the resolution of labor problems in coordination with the Human Resources department
- Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
- o For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all
- Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications / Requirements:
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or related technical field.
- See Table A for information regarding years of experience required
- More than 6 years of experience as production supervisor, 5 years as supervisor in medical industry preferred
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry
- • Knowledge of Quality System requirements
- • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Control and Production Control
- • Good leadership and team working skills
- • Good verbal and written communication skills
- • Proven initiative, creativity and assertiveness
- • Basic understanding of environmental, health and safety (EHS) standards
- • Basic knowledge of Mexican labor regulations
- • Bilingual Spanish - English intermediate
- • knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Office, ERP system)
- • Ability to make customer-centered decisions
