We are searching for the best talent for Project Governance & Strategy Specialist II to be in Juarez City

Project Governance & Strategy Specialist – Serves as the core enabler of governance and execution for New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, ensuring disciplined project delivery while embedding Process Excellence, Lean, digital and automation principles across the end‑to‑end NPI lifecycle. The role integrates standardized project management practices and drives governance to enable fast, robust, and compliant product launches aligned with business strategy. The Project Governance & Strategy Specialist enables effective prioritization, resource allocation, risk management, and performance tracking across cross‑functional teams and ensure consistency in project execution through defined methodologies, stage‑gate governance, standardized reporting, and executive-level dashboards, supporting informed and timely decision‑making.

You will be responsible for:

  • Report on NPI projects focused on eliminating non‑value‑added activities during process design
  • Coordinate periodic meetings to present improvements, areas of opportunity, and project status.
  • Support deployment of Process Excellence governance models across NPI programs, enabling stabilization and sustained performance post‑launch
  • Integrate Lean entry and exit criteria into NPI stage‑gate reviews, ensuring readiness in quality, capacity, capability, and compliance before progression
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans using standard project management tools (charter, Gantt chart, etc).
  • Utilizes Process Excellence methodology and tools to identify and implement improvement projects geared to reduce costs, eliminate scrap, improve quality and minimize cycle time
  • Prepare/review capital & expense forecasts for assigned projects. Prepare capital authorization requests for NPI/LCM VSM areas
  • Collaborates with and reviews, in coordination with the engineers within the NPI/LCM VSM organization and training department, the necessary actions to complete the training matrix for new product lines based on the proposed design
  • Collaborates with the engineers within the NPI/LCM VSM organization in activities related to production process analysis, including process video capture, video analysis, trend analysis charts, and other related tasks as required.
  • Owns and manages, in coordination with the Process Excellence Engineer, the request workflow to support the design and development of new production lines
  • Ensure compliance with the quality policy in all activities.
  • Support and promote the safety and industrial hygiene objective of the plant
  • Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum required: Completed bachelor’s degree - any specialization.
  • 0-2 years of demonstrated experience managing NPI related projects using project management tools/software (e.g. MS Project)
  • - Knowledge of risk management, and basic presentation skills for project status review.
  • Understanding of key CAPEX and financial concepts
  • Intermediate spoken and written English skills to maintain basic communication with non-Spanish speakers.
  • - Basic understanding and knowledge of PDP process
  • - Experience in the medical products industry, preferably.
  • - Demonstrated experience applying structured project management methodologies, stage‑gate governance, and portfolio tracking within NPI or product lifecycle environments
  • - Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, SAP, or equivalent systems).
  • - Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., medical devices, FDA, ISO‑regulated manufacturing) preferred
  • Knowledge in integrating digital and automation solutions into Value Stream Maps.
  • Green or Black Belt certification preferred
  • Knowledge of project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Planner ,Smartsheet, ClickUp, Jira, SAP.
  • Effective communication, including clear and persuasive presentations for different audiences.
  • Ability to negotiate and align objectives across functional areas.
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English preferred.
  • Windchill & JDE (preferred).
