Job Duties: Service and repair of designated electronic or mechanical products in the most efficient manner and adhere to established quality standards. Set up and operate Electro-mechanical equipment /fixtures to perform repairs and follow Test Process Instructions to test product functionality; log test data and escalate nonconformances. Work with the site Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams, including the Complaint department and technical support to determine the root cause of product failures. Provide detailed symptom descriptions for failures uncovered during functional test and calibration and document in defect management tool. Perform troubleshooting, test and repair of Robotic Platforms at the subsystem, interface, and component levels and verify corrective actions for test failures. Assist with documenting test plans, results, conclusions, and traceability with product requirements and design specifications. Set up and maintain the functionality test station for robotic devices, ensuring all hardware, software, and safety systems are correctly configured and ready for testing. Support the installation of software and firmware in Electro-Mechanical systems. Identify and escalate nonconforming products and support root cause investigation alongside manufacturing engineering. Establish customer satisfaction by delivering excellent repair and support of customer products while maintaining high system uptime. Support the Quality System and Quality Policy by following procedures/work instructions and creating records to meet the requirements of the Quality Management System. Maintain inventory, tools, certified test equipment, and items related to the Service Repair Depot. Provide assistance with failure analysis of RMAs and properly documents findings. Conduct quality inspection of own or peer’s work to ensure workmanship standards are met. Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP) principles to assembly, test records and related documentation.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Service Repair Technician, Flexible Robotics-related occupation.

Position requires experience in:

1. Configuring computer hardware and software;

2. Jira, MES, Share Point, JAMA, Air Table, and Agile PLM;

3. SAP;

4. Robotic platforms testing and repairing;

5. Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP);

6. Robotic surgical medical devices domain, including Physician HID, Console, Table, Arm, Tower, and Tool drivers;

7. Installation, replacement, and functional testing of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components on Getinge tables, including batteries, power distribution boards, Table Adaptive Controller boards, Digital speaker boards, hydraulic motors, and communication boards;

8. Handling software/Firmware installation, configuration, and verification for table control systems, audio files, and remote controllers, ensuring accurate operation and reliable communication between all table components;

9. Conducting table calibration, control swaps, and full operational testing to ensure Robotic equipment meet performance, safety, and quality standards:

10. Medical device quality testing;

11. Product Lifecycle Management, including design, development, customization, and implementation; and

12. Scrum methodology, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.
