Job Description:

Regional Sales Manager – Joints & VELYS

Location: South India
Reporting To: General Sales Manager – South

Role Purpose

Lead the Joints & VELYS business across the assigned region by driving sales growth, market share expansion, strategic account development, and adoption of advanced orthopedic technologies. Responsible for building high-performing teams, strengthening surgeon and hospital partnerships, and delivering sustainable business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver regional sales, market share, and profitability targets for the Joints & VELYS portfolio.
  • Lead, coach, and develop District Account Managers and field teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and manage relationships with key orthopedic surgeons, KOLs, hospital leadership, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption and utilization of VELYS Digital Surgery solutions across strategic accounts.
  • Develop and execute regional business plans to accelerate procedure growth and competitive conversions.
  • Identify and expand opportunities within corporate hospitals, teaching institutions, and high-volume arthroplasty centers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical, Professional Education, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, business reviews, and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of medical device sales experience with significant exposure to Orthopedics/Joint Reconstruction.
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Proven track record in leading regional sales teams and managing strategic healthcare accounts.
  • Experience with capital equipment, robotics, or digital surgery solutions is an advantage.
