ESO

Stands for EMEA Strategy and Operations and is responsible for developing regional strategy across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Summary

As a Working Student (f/m/d) - EMEA Brand Associate, you will support our EMEA Oncology Marketing team in its day-to-day operational and administrative work for the J&J prostate cancer brands. You will work closely with Product Managers and Brand Leads, helping them coordinate marketing activities, develop materials, prepare analyses and reports, and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues across EMEA. The role provides first-hand exposure to international pharmaceutical marketing and, depending on your experience and interests, the opportunity to take ownership of selected projects and workstreams with increasing responsibility.

Tasks

  • Assist with the development and adaptation of product-related and disease-awareness materials for healthcare professionals and patients across print and digital channels.
  • Support the planning, coordination and execution of international marketing campaigns across different channels.
  • Prepare presentations, analyses, reports and meeting materials using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and digital analytics platforms, and present results to the team where appropriate.
  • Support Product Managers and Brand Leads with operational and administrative day-to-day marketing activities and cross-functional coordination.
  • Support the development and coordination of digital content across channels, including websites, newsletters, email and other digital media.
  • Actively contribute to the adoption of AI-enabled tools and new technologies to improve marketing processes, content development and ways of working, in line with applicable J&J policies and guidance.
  • Contribute to international marketing projects and collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams across different EMEA markets.
  • Opportunity to take ownership of individual projects and workstreams, with increasing responsibility based on experience and interests.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a university student throughout the duration of the position.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or advanced stage of studies, ideally in natural sciences, business administration, marketing or a related field, is an advantage.
  • Strong interest in healthcare, oncology and marketing.
  • First practical experience in marketing, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or a related field is an advantage, but not required.
  • Curious, reliable and proactive, with a willingness to learn and contribute in a hands-on role.
  • Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills, attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
  • Good communication and presentation skills and enjoyment of working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong digital mindset and interest in AI, new technologies and their application in marketing.
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken.

What you can expect

  • First-hand insight into international pharmaceutical marketing at EMEA level.
  • Practical experience supporting real marketing activities and projects with visible business relevance.
  • Collaboration in an international, cross-functional and virtual environment.
  • Exposure to modern marketing approaches, digital technologies and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Opportunity to take ownership of selected projects and workstreams as your experience grows.
