DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Professional, Cork, located in Ringaskiddy, Cork.
The Professional, Cork supports day‑to‑day business and operational activities at the Ringaskiddy site, contributing to effective execution of processes, programs, and initiatives aligned with DePuy Synthes’ business objectives. This role partners with cross‑functional teams to ensure work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. The position offers broad exposure to site operations within a global MedTech organization and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on operational performance and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support execution of core business or functional processes aligned with site and organizational priorities.
Provide operational and administrative support to assigned teams or functions.
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and data in line with defined procedures and controls.
Coordinate activities, communications, and deliverables across cross‑functional stakeholders.
Assist with reporting, metrics, and tracking to support performance monitoring and decision‑making.
Ensure work complies with applicable quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and site‑level projects as needed.
Where required to be managed locally:
Document handling: Print, stamp/seal, mail/ship, distribute, and route documents for wet signatures.
Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents; fulfill requests; coordinate offsite storage; scan and name for Veeva.
Compliance/admin: Upload/submit filings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Typically 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in a business, operations, or functional support role.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, high‑quality work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and standard business systems.
Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional, team‑based environment.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience working in a regulated industry such as MedTech, Pharma, or Manufacturing.
Familiarity with site‑based or operational environments.
Experience supporting continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
Experience working in a global or matrixed organization.
Other:
Language: Fluent English required.
Travel: Minimal travel expected.
Certifications: Role‑relevant professional certifications preferred but not required.
