The program

Behind every great health breakthrough are savvy financial managers with visionary leadership skills. The Finance MBA Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a comprehensive leadership accelerator designed to shape you into a future finance leader by providing the tools, experience, and opportunities to equip you for a successful career.

The opportunity

  • As a full-time Finance MBA LDP (graduating class of 2025), you’ll be hired as a manager for two rotations across multiple functional areas, from treasury to business development to supply chain. This program is a four-year rotational program with targeted training, continual coaching, and an assigned mentor
  • As an MBA finance intern (graduating class of 2026), you’ll be hired into our 10-week summer program which includes training for both technical and soft skills along with mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to an alumni network
  • Gain experience through diverse assignments and dynamic challenges in key commercial functions—including marketing and sales, market access, commercial insights, strategy, and analytics
  • First-year participants attend an orientation and the MBA LDP Summit, where you’ll gain exposure to the company’s senior finance leadership and 40 hours of classroom and e-learning
  • Be responsible for completing strategic business initiatives and projects that will expose you to top-level management across multiple functional areas, including corporate finance, research and development (R&D), sales and marketing, and supply chain
  • Positions are primarily available in or near central New Jersey at various Johnson & Johnson operating companies
  • Candidates are required to pursue and complete the examinations for a professional certification (CMA or CPA) during the program

Who we’re looking for

Our ideal candidates have a passion for everything finance and demonstrate leadership skills through experience, internships and extracurricular activities. They must have an aptitude to apply accounting and finance skills in job situations, and should possess strong interpersonal skills as well as a commitment to excellence and integrity.

  • Full-time MBA LDP: must be a graduate student enrolled in a full-time MBA program graduating between August 2024 and August 2025. MBA Internship: graduating between August 2025 and August 2026
  • A minimum of five years of business experience is required
  • Leadership capabilities demonstrated through extracurricular activities, employment, and/or internship experiences are required
  • US work authorization without the need for sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future
