Finance Leadership Development Program

The program

You don’t have to be a scientist or engineer to deliver breakthrough thinking that can tackle the world’s toughest challenges. The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) accelerates your growth as a future finance leader as you find new and innovative ways to profoundly impact health for humanity. Develop critical leadership and technical skills through rotational assignments, in-depth training, and ongoing coaching. FLDP participants complete six months of onboarding, followed by two 12-month rotations.

The opportunity

  • A two-and-a-half-year, full-time program
  • Build your network and utilize your leadership skills and technical knowledge through comprehensive rotations, including assignments across financial disciplines, including accounting, tax, financial reporting, corporate finance, internal auditing, operations, research and development finance, and sales and marketing finances
  • Blended learning including five weeks of classroom and e-learning activities, focusing on core leadership and business competencies, technical skills, process excellence, value creation, and healthcare industry economics
  • Positions may be available at numerous, operating companies located in or near New Brunswick, NJ, Raritan, NJ, Titusville, NJ, Horsham, PA, Springhouse, PA, West Chester, PA, Jacksonville, FL, Warsaw, IN, Cincinnati, OH, Irvine, CA, Raynham, MA, Danvers, MA, San Angelo, TX and El Paso,TX.
  • The FLDP and the Johnson & Johnson finance community encourage participants to pursue certification in management accounting (CMA) and /or public accounting (CPA)

Who we’re looking for

Our ideal candidates have a passion for everything finance and demonstrate leadership skills through experience, internships and extracurricular activities. They must have an aptitude to apply accounting and finance skills in job situations, and should possess strong interpersonal skills as well as a commitment to excellence and integrity.

  • A bachelor’s or fifth-year master’s degree (received between August 2024 and August 2025) in finance, accounting, economics, data analytics, or business-related degree is required
  • An equivalent cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership experience is required
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel is preferred
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Full-time basis is required
  • Ability to temporarily relocate to a different state within the United States or Juarez, Mexico for rotational assignment is required
