Johnson & Johnson Vision (JJSV) is recruiting for a Account Manager Cataract, located in Norway. Johnson & Johnson Vision (JJSV) is a global leading company within ophthalmology that develops life changing techniques for all ages. We provide eye surgeons and their patients with a complete solution that includes a range of advanced products and services developed to help people of all ages with sight defects. We offer market leading technique for laser surgery, equipment for cataract surgery and innovative intraocular lenses. We also offer a program for education and support that help eye surgeons to master the full range of the technology.

Account Manager Cataract Norway

Working as an Account Manager Cataract Norway, you will act as a strategic partner to our customers, driving sustainable growth across both the premium and monofocal cataract segments. Through ambitious and motivating sales targets, you will build long-term relationships and trusted partnerships between Johnson & Johnson Vision and key customers, supporting optimized product mix, portfolio utilization, and clinical outcomes.

You will be responsible for the development and growth of your district (covering larger parts of Norway), with a strong focus on expanding the premium segment while ensuring a solid and competitive position within monofocal solutions. This includes identifying growth opportunities, supporting customers in portfolio planning, and driving adoption of premium lenses alongside a value-driven monofocal offering. You will be accountable for translating the overall sales strategy into effective plans and actions, including customer planning, follow-up on sales activities, and continuous development of both customers and the business in your district.

Strong communication skills are essential, enabling you to understand diverse customer needs, engage key stakeholders, and clearly articulate the clinical, economic, and patient-related value of both premium and monofocal intraocular lenses. You will tailor your approach to each customer, supporting their strategic objectives while representing Johnson & Johnson Vision’s values and commitment to partnership. Internal reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and close cooperation with management and Nordic colleagues are integral parts of the role, ensuring alignment, knowledge sharing, and consistent execution across the organization.

Objectives of the Position

  • Drive continued growth within the premium segment by identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing customer partnerships, and promoting value-based solutions that increase adoption and share of wallet.

  • Own and manage the full sales process across both premium and monofocal cataract lenses, from initial customer engagement through proposals, planning, training, and ongoing support.

  • Build, develop, and sustain strong, long-term relationships with customers.

  • Take full accountability for the commercial performance of the assigned product portfolio, including analyzing results, drawing conclusions, and taking appropriate actions.

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve budget and growth targets.

  • Actively participate in and contribute to tender processes within the assigned district.

  • Ensure all activities are aligned with customer needs and support the overall business strategy.

  • Conduct all business activities in full compliance with ethical standards and applicable legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Preferably of a bachelor’s degree, Optometrist, nurse or similar.

  • Driving license (requirement)

  • Fluent spoken and written Norwegian and English language (required).

  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft office (especially in Excel) (required).

  • A valid European driving license (required).

  • Sales experience with continuous and proven track record of success of profitable growth (preferred & advantage).

  • Experience within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry (preferable)

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

kr539,000.00 - kr867,100.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
