The Opportunity
New opportunity for a project oriented and process driven individual to join our Professional Education team. Vital role within the Surgery business, the Professional Relations & Operations Specialist is responsible for the strategic and compliant management of Education Grants, Fellowships, Donations and Fee-for-Service payments, ensuring financial management aligns with organisational objectives whilst enhancing the quality and efficiency of educational initiatives throughout the ANZ region.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: a key strategic partner, acting as the central point of contact for external stakeholders including customers and educational leaders, and consulting with Education Leads and Professional Education Managers ensuring processes ranging from grant applications to invoicing are executed efficiently and in alignment with organisational strategy
- Compliance & Accuracy: prioritising rigorous documentation, tracking, and reporting, ensuring all operations meet compliance requirements, whilst also identifying and rectifying discrepancies in financial and budget reports
- Timely Execution of Deliverables: in collaboration with Professional Education Managers, swiftly processing payments and adhering to contractual obligations, contributing to the seamless execution of Professional Education events
- Enhancing Efficiency: actively contributing to the optimisation of business strategies, systems, and processes, and facilitating effective communication and knowledge dissemination to stakeholders to improve operational efficiencies
- Analytical Insight: analysing financial data and educational outcomes to empower decision-making processes and drive continuous improvement
About You
- Degree qualified and minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, plus knowledge of healthcare industry and compliance principles highly regarded
- Self-starter and autonomous, who are process driven, along with strong project management skills
- Meticulously organised, with good attention to detail, problem solving, and communication skills
- Proactive with a consultative approach, and the capacity to engage and work with stakeholders across all levels
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team, and a positive can-do attitude
