Global Services Finance is the Johnson & Johnson Finance organization operating across multiple
regions, with this position based in Prague, Czech Republic. As part of the Legal Entity Accounting
team, this role supports compliant local financial services for Johnson & Johnson affiliates and helps
ensure strong statutory, tax, and audit outcomes.
As the LE Accounting Team Lead, you will lead statutory accounting and reporting activities for
assigned legal entities, acting as the key coordinator across internal teams, external service
providers, auditors, and tax stakeholders. You will drive timely and compliant statutory close and
financial statement delivery, strengthen controls and process discipline, resolve complex accounting
matters, and support the development of a high-performing team in a dynamic global environment.
Core responsibilities include:
· Lead end-to-end statutory accounting and local statutory financial statement preparation for
assigned legal entities.
· Own local statutory reporting requirements for entities in scope, ensuring completeness,
accuracy, and timely delivery.
· Oversee external service providers supporting statutory financial statement preparation and
review deliverables against quality and compliance expectations.
· Coordinate and execute corrective action plans related to statutory financial statements,
audit observations, and process deficiencies where applicable.
· Monitor, analyze, and continuously improve statutory accounting and reporting processes to
increase efficiency, standardization, and control.
· Apply strong knowledge of statutory financial reporting, general ledger structures, and
accounting controls to support accurate local reporting.
· Serve as a key point of contact for technical statutory accounting matters and maintain
effective relationships with external service providers, Corporate Tax Centers, auditors, and
local management teams including Finance, Tax, Legal, and Supply Chain.
· Ensure all statutory close requirements are completed in line with internal and external
deadlines.
· Support Corporate Tax Centers and relevant stakeholders in the preparation of corporate
tax returns and in responding to tax-related requirements for companies in scope.
· Coordinate local audit activities by preparing and reviewing supporting documentation,
tracking open items, and driving timely resolution with auditors and stakeholders.
· Provide guidance on complex accounting, reporting, and financial systems issues to
maintain strong control and compliance standards.
· Partner closely with Account-to-Report and other Global Services stakeholders on local
statutory requirements, reporting impacts, and process dependencies.
· Support projects and business changes by providing insight into local statutory, tax, and
reporting requirements.
· Collaborate with other global teams to benchmark practices, share insights, and implement
improvement actions.
· Escalate risks proactively to ensure statutory deadlines, compliance requirements, and
audit commitments are met.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
· Professional accounting qualification preferred (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CMA, Chartered
Accountant, or equivalent).
· 7–10 years of relevant post-qualification finance or accounting experience in a multinational
or shared services environment.
Languages:
· Fluent English, both written and spoken.
· Additional language skills are an advantage.
Experience Required:
· Strong experience in statutory accounting, local statutory financial statements, and legal
entity reporting.
· Experience working with external auditors, tax stakeholders, and third-party service
providers.
· Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, local GAAP, and tax reporting requirements relevant to
statutory close and reporting.
· Experience with audit coordination, control environments, and compliance requirements
including SOX.
· Shared services, multinational, or Big 4 experience is preferred.
· Prior people leadership or team coordination experience is preferred.
