Job Overview
The Manager, Exit is responsible for leading the execution of employee offboarding processes within Global Services HR. This role ensures consistent, compliant, and efficient execution of exit processes across regions while leveraging digital HR platforms to improve accuracy and employee experience.
This position offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence at scale by optimizing HR processes, ensuring data quality, and partnering across functions to deliver seamless offboarding experiences. The role has direct impact on compliance, employee transitions, and continuous improvement initiatives within HR services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the execution of end-to-end employee exit processes, including resignations, terminations, retirements, and contract closures
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and global HR standards across all offboarding activities
Manage and optimize HR digital tools and workflows supporting exit processes
Oversee accurate creation, maintenance, and closure of employee records and documentation
Partner with payroll, legal, IT, and HR Business Partners to ensure timely and seamless offboarding execution
Monitor service delivery metrics and drive continuous improvement of exit processes to enhance efficiency and quality
Support audit readiness and reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards
Provide guidance on complex and escalated exit cases, ensuring appropriate resolution
Drive process standardization and adoption of best practices across regions
Contribute to broader HR lifecycle initiatives from onboarding through offboarding
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field)
Advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required:
6-8 years of progressive experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or HR Service Delivery
Experience executing employee lifecycle processes, including offboarding and compliance activities
Knowledge of labor laws and HR policies related to termination processes
Experience working with HRIS systems and digital HR tools
Strong analytical and process improvement capabilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Experience leading or supervising HR operations or shared services teams
Experience in global or regional HR delivery models
Experience driving digital transformation initiatives in HR
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
Experience with HR analytics and reporting tools
Experience working in a matrixed, global organization
Exposure to large-scale HR service environments
Other:
Language Requirements – Fluent in English and Spanish required
Travel – Up to 10% (international and regional)
Certifications – HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) preferred
