This is what you will do as an Associate Quality Engineer Maintenance
We are looking for an Associate Quality Engineer Maintenance to join our Global Engineering & Technology Maintenance team in Leiden. In this role, you support quality processes within maintenance in a GMP-regulated environment. You will gain hands-on experience in investigations, documentation, and compliance, while working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.
Your responsibilities:
- Support compliance with GMP, company policies, and quality standards
- Assist in quality investigations, deviations, and CAPA activities
- Support root cause analyses using tools such as 5 Why and Ishikawa
- Review maintenance documentation after execution, including preventive and corrective maintenance
- Assess and process SAP notifications under supervision
- Act as a first point of contact for basic QA-related maintenance questions
- Support document management, including SOPs, work instructions, and training curricula
- Contribute to audit and inspection readiness
- Collaborate with Operations, QC, and QA to solve issues
- Identify risks and escalate in a timely manner

Your profile:
- MBO-4 diploma in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 0–3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or other regulated environment
- Strong interest in quality and maintenance processes
- Basic knowledge of GMP and quality systems is a plus
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Professional-level English language skills (written and spoken) are required.
- Structured, proactive, and eager to learn
- Familiarity with SAP, MS Office, or quality systems is an advantage

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€38.300,00 - €61.410,00Benefits:
