  • Ensure robust technical problem solving, investigation support, and timely closure of CAPAs, audit findings, and non-conformances; lead corrective and preventive actions to address quality, technical, and manufacturing issues.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of engineering specifications, procedures, and standards (including packaging specifications and processes where applicable) to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Promote operational excellence by continuously improving business processes to reduce cost, improve compliance, and increase efficiency across engineering operations.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams: recruit, develop, coach, and inspire engineering professionals; set quarterly individual goals aligned to organizational objectives; provide mentoring and development opportunities for direct reports and broader teams.
  • Provide technical consultation and guidance on conceptual evaluation, design, validation, and qualification of new equipment, controls, packaging systems, and manufacturing processes; participate in technical design reviews for machine requirements and product/process specifications.
  • Manage external interfaces as needed, including supervising/leading work with vendors, outside designers, consultants, and contractors for off-the-shelf and custom solutions.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline required.
  • Typically requires 8+ years of progressively responsible engineering experience; leadership experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
