Accelerate your impact and realize your potential sooner with the Global Operations Leadership Development (GOLD) Program. Through GOLD’s structured framework that combines challenging work rotations with classroom and online training over a two-and-a-half-year period, you’ll hone your leadership skills and gain valuable knowledge and insights into our end-to-end, global supply chain functions. Through mentorship, networking and dynamic real-world experience, you’ll gain new skills while helping solve the toughest health challenges.

A two-and-a-half-year, full-time rotational program for high-potential, early-in-career talent.
Dynamic blended learning with in-person classes, online training, and three rotations across the Johnson & Johnson enterprise supply chain. Functional areas include operations, procurement, quality, planning, customer and logistics services, project and process engineering, and facilities engineering.
Global networking and collaboration with associates from around the world.

Our GOLD Program offers full-time employment. Through cross-functional work assignments and action learning projects, you’ll develop the skills and capabilities you need to successfully launch your career. At the same time, we’ll focus on your personal development too, providing you with mentorship and networking opportunities, access to a large alumni network—and so much more.

Our presence

Johnson & Johnson and the GOLD Program maintain a global presence in cohorts across the NA, LATAM, EMEA and APAC regions. The map below illustrates some of the J&J site locations where potential GOLD rotations may be available and their respective cohorts.

Who we’re looking for

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, data science, or an engineering related field.
  • Academic achievement as proven by an overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • A minimum of three months of professional work experience in a related field, inclusive of co-op, internship, and post-graduate employment.
  • Strong interest in experiencing multifunctional assignments in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Quality.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Geographic flexibility within cohort region (i.e. EMEA/NA/APAC/LATAM) is mandatory during the program including final placement assignments.

1. Submit Your Application

August – September

2. Getting to Know You

September – October

Shortly after your application, you may be asked to complete some additional questions to better help us evaluate your application and get to know you as both a candidate and as a potential member of our GOLD community. Based on the current recruitment cycle, a combination of application review, recommendation review, recorded interviews, and/or virtual interviews are used to narrow the selection pool.


3. Assessment and Selection

Late October – Mid November

The final stage! Selected candidates will hear from a member of our GOLD Program Office inviting them to take part in the Final Hiring Event. This event includes interviews, assessments, and group case studies. During these activities, you will be able to connect directly with GOLD Program alumni and ask any questions about the program and what your journey could look like. If selected, we will reach out to make an offer and share more information about joining our Global Operations Leadership Development Program at Johnson & Johnson.
