We're seeking a Data Scientist Software Engineer to help pioneer surgical visualization technologies. In this full-time position, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation across the technology stack—from data collection and management, model development and deployment, to new feature prototyping and architecting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop artificial intelligence and computer vision based technologies to make surgery more efficient and safe.
- Work closely with team to define and collect datasets for development, testing and AI/ML model training.
- Build and deploy tools for training pipelines, as well as visualizing, debugging, and evaluating the image data, associated annotations, and objective metrics.
- Work in a dynamic, agile environment, partnering with other advanced imaging program teams to drive forward breakthroughs in medical visualization technologies.
Qualifications
Education:
- A MS in an engineering field, such as Machine Learning, Computer Science, or Robotics.
Required:
- Familiarity with machine learning fundamental concepts and MLOps tools.
- Experience defining and collecting datasets specifically for AI/ML model training.
- Software Engineering and programming skills with C++/Python.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with ROS/ROS2 frameworks
- Experience with PyTorch, Weights and Biases, TensorRT.
- Experience within Git source control
- Experience with software testing and continuous integration/DevOps.
