Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Financial Analyst, Intl Finance – LATAM, located in Bogotá Distrito Capital, Colombia.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Job Overview

The Financial Analyst, Intl Finance – LATAM plays a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities across the LATAM region. This role partners closely with regional finance leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver accurate financial insights, support business decision‑making, and ensure compliance with corporate financial standards. The position offers strong exposure to international operations and the opportunity to influence financial performance across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial results, including actuals, forecasts, and budgets for LATAM markets.

  • Support regional month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

  • Develop financial models and variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting regional performance.

  • Partner with commercial, supply chain, and functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decisions.

  • Assist with annual operating plan (AOP) and long‑range planning (LRP) processes for the LATAM region.

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, corporate policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits and respond to ad‑hoc financial analysis requests as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).

  • MBA or postgraduate degree in Finance or Business (preferred).

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Typically requires 2–4 years of relevant finance or accounting experience in a corporate or regional environment.

  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools and Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.

  • Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and controls.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting international or regional (LATAM) operations.

  • Knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and financial analytics tools.

  • Exposure to medical device, healthcare, or regulated industries.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Other:

  • Languages: Spanish (fluent); English (professional working proficiency).

  • Certifications: CPA, CMA, or equivalent (preferred, not required).
