Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, US Surgical Vision Sales. This position will be located in Jacksonville, FL or Irvine, CA. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid working schedule, with days both in the office and remote each week.

This role is a key business partner to the US Surgical Vision sales organization, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations to deliver actionable insights, ensure SOX compliance, manage close activities, and support ad hoc analyses and business cases.


Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead monthly close activities related to revenue accounting.
  • Own sales reporting and provide clear and direct communication on forecasts and results.
  • Champion strong internal controls (SOX), audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver exceptional value through identifying process improvements, reducing complexity and providing meaningful insights to enable excellence in business partnering and decision making.
  • Be the go-to contact for your assigned areas—building trusted relationships with business partners.
  • Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analytics that drive decisions.
  • Drive global standardization and optimization projects (including Signifi), helping us work smarter and faster.
  • Invest in your growth and well-being—take ownership of your development and help foster a positive team culture.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required; Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications preferred.
  • A minimum of (3) three years finance experience is required.

Experience/Skills:

  • Knowledge of Accounting, Internal Controls Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Analytics, Portfolio management, Sales/Marketing Financial Support is needed.
  • Experience with SAP, CFIN, and Microsoft Office; bonus points for PowerBI or automation tools.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and proactive idea generation is required
  • A collaborative spirit—you’re comfortable leading or supporting as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent planning and prioritization skills.
  • A mindset for challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvement.
  • Must be able to work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$79,000.00 - $127,650.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).


Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
