We are searching for the best talent for Finance Senior Supervisor.

Purpose:

Establish and ensure adherence to financial processes, controls, and objectives to support overall program delivery, applying J&J procedures and accounting best practices. Support financial close activities, project accounting, and reporting, as well as all inquiries related to program compliance. In partnership with the Finance Manager, seek and collaborate with J&J subject matter experts in Global Financial Services, Trade Compliance, Tax, Treasury, and Legal, as needed, to ensure compliance with all internal and external laws, regulations, and procedures.

You will be responsible for:

In accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations, as well as Johnson & Johnson Corporate procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Supports site financial planning activities, following franchise timelines and processes.
  • Assists in the development and presentation of detailed project budgets, analyses, and executive-level forecasts and projections for senior management.
  • Assists in identifying and presenting critical insights related to project objectives, opportunities, and risks, as well as mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Supports SAP implementation from a cost accounting perspective.
  • Builds strong cross-functional and cross-franchise partnerships at all levels within Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Marketing, and Commercial organizations to gather and challenge assumptions, model scenario implications, and influence business decisions.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next level of management.
  • Responsible for following all company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices, as applicable.
  • For employees who supervise or manage personnel, responsible for ensuring direct reports follow all company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices, and that all necessary resources to do so are available and in good condition, as applicable.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Experience and education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • 4-6 years of relevant multinational experience is required.
  • Advanced English proficiency is required.

Required knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications/licenses and affiliations

  • Strong analytical, technical accounting, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Experience in cost accounting.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with business partners through strong persuasion and influencing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an interest in planning, along with the ability to communicate complex data effectively and clearly.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous operational improvements.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complex situations into simple, practical solutions and support the prioritization and management of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous experience supporting manufacturing site start-ups, network transformation initiatives, and/or standardization of supply chain finance activities.
  • Prior experience and knowledge of ERP functionality and master data setup (JDE/SAP), Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, international legal entity requirements, trade compliance, intercompany product and financial flows, labor agreements, and financial audits.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare or medical device industry is preferred.
