For Kruthika T K, Analyst, Master Data Operations in Bengaluru, growth has come through both her core responsibilities and opportunities to try new skills.
“Working in Global Services Bengaluru allowed me to understand global processes and gave me the chance to collaborate with diverse teams across J&J,” she says. “I’ve strengthened my functional expertise, communication and problem-solving skills by working with cross-regional teams.”
Kruthika helps maintain customer master data, supporting data accuracy, compliance and business processes across J&J. She has also found ways to develop experience beyond that work.
Through a Grow Gig—a “stretch assignment” in which you get to take on a short-term project in an area that interests you—Kruthika expanded her network, gained new competencies and put her cross-functional collaboration skills into practice.
For someone early in a career, an experience outside a core role can help turn curiosity into firsthand knowledge.
