Role Purpose
The Launch Manager is responsible for orchestrating end-to-end product launch execution, ensuring alignment across commercial, medical, market access, and supply teams to deliver successful market entry and sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Launch Strategy & Planning
- Lead the cross-functional launch plan, ensuring clarity on objectives, timelines, and milestones
- Translate global/ regional strategy into local execution plans aligned with market dynamics
- Define success metrics (KPIs) including uptake, access, and availability
2. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Coordinate across:
- Marketing / Sales / Field Force / Medical Affairs / Market Access / Regulatory / Supply Chain / Finance
- Ensure consistent execution and prioritization across teams
3. Market Readiness & Execution
- Drive readiness across key dimensions observed in your internal launch framework:
- Patient identification and segmentation, treatment pathway clarity, product availability and logistics
- Monitor readiness gaps and implement mitigation actions before launch
4. Access & Adoption Acceleration
- Partner with market access teams to: Ensure formulary inclusion and reimbursement pathways Support prescribing and access navigation Enable early adoption through targeted accounts and KOL engagement
5. Field Enablement
- Ensure sales force readiness: Training (clinical + commercial), messaging consistency, omnichannel materials Support in-clinic adoption and procedural confidence
6. Execution Tracking & Performance Management
- Monitor launch KPIs: Demand generation Sell-in / sell-out Inventory health Account activation Provide regular updates to leadership with clear actions
7. Continuous Optimization
- Capture insights from: Field feedback, customer interactions, early market performance Adjust strategy to accelerate growth and remove barriers Key Capabilities
- Strong project management and execution discipline Cross-functional leadership Deep understanding of: Go-to-market strategies Market access dynamics Supply chain & product availability Data-driven decision-making / critical thinking Stakeholder influence at senior levels
Experience / Background
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Engineering, or a related field
- +2 years in: Pharma / MedTech / Healthcare Marketing, Sales, or Market Access
- Experience as Project Manager
- Travel availability thought the year
