Founded in 2004, the Johnson & Johnson HR Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) builds business and leadership skills for emerging HR talent. Throughout our 20-year history, we have grown a global footprint with two tracks to enter which meet your level of experience. The Program:

A prescriptive two-year development journey, designed to accelerate your growth, Johnson & Johnson's HRLDP develops experienced professionals into HR leaders by providing differentiated opportunities for exposure, engagement, and development. Who We Hire:

We look for both Undergrad and Graduate students with previous experiences in HR or an HR-related field. We have two tracks within our HRLDP; both provide a strong foundation to foster the innovation and growth needed to accelerate your development.

Our ideal candidates have strategic mindsets, together with the ability to engage, lead and drive results across our global enterprise. They have learning curiosity, agility and resiliency, and the courage to meet the HR challenges of tomorrow.

Foundational Track



Ideal Candidate:

  • Students completing a bachelor’s or graduate degree with a focus in business, HR management, industrial/organizational psychology, or other HR-related disciplines
  • Minimum of six months of full-time professional work experience is required
  • HR experience preferred, but not required
  • Geographically mobile for rotations and final placement of the full-time program
  • Fluency in English is required, as well as fluency in the language of the country where the assignment is located (fluency in a second language preferred)
  • Legal authorization to work in the country where the role is located

Our Recruitment and Selection Process:

Recruitment for both our full-time and summer internship opportunities runs annually from August to March. Those who participate in our HRLDP summer internship program and perform strongly will be considered for a full-time position as part of the HRLDP after completion of their degree.
